What is Vale Tudo? |

 Vale Tudo / M.M.A. means "Anything Goes" and has been taking
place in Brazil since 1920. It is competition in which different martial artists meet to settle their differences and to prove the
superiority of their styles. These fights are more than a simple sporting event - fighters fight for their honour. These Vale Tudo /
M.M.A. battles have created legends and put an end to others. Vale-Tudo / M.M.A : This system is a blend of punching, elbowing,
kneeing, kicking, clinching, throwing, choking, locking and other techniques. Especially the ground fighting makes this system
complete.Combining techniques of Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, Shooto, Greco-Roman Wrestling, Freestyle Wrestling, Dumog and other grappling arts, combined with skills from Thai boxing, Western boxing and Savate. |
